Introduction to STAAD.Pro, interface overview, model generation, structure wizard, creating nodes, beams, columns, plates, walls, grids, snap nodes, beam properties, material properties, support conditions, member releases, member offsets, creating 2D and 3D frames, importing CAD models.
W2: Week 2: Load Application and Combinations
Load types - dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, snow load, temperature load, load application methods, load combinations as per IS 875 and IS 1893, auto load generation, wind load definition, seismic load definition, load cases, load groups, load envelopes.
W3: Week 3: Analysis and Post-Processing
Analysis types - linear static, P-delta, dynamic, buckling, analysis settings, running analysis, viewing results, bending moment diagrams, shear force diagrams, deflection diagrams, axial force diagrams, stress contours, displacement results, reaction results, animation, result verification.
W4: Week 4: RCC Design
RCC design as per IS 456:2000, concrete design parameters, beam design, column design, slab design, footing design, design results interpretation, design reports, detailing as per IS 13920, SP 16 charts, design optimization.
W5: Week 5: Steel Design and Live Projects
Steel design as per IS 800:2007, tension members, compression members, beams, columns, connections, design parameters, design results, live projects - residential building, commercial building, industrial structure, complete structural analysis and design.
W6: Week 6: Documentation, Viva, and Certification
Report generation, design reports, analysis reports, structural drawings, project documentation, resume building, interview preparation, viva-voce examination, feedback session, certificate distribution.
