W2: Week 2: Beam Design
Singly reinforced beam, doubly reinforced beam, T-beam, L-beam, flanged beam, balanced section, under-reinforced section, over-reinforced section, moment of resistance, shear design, shear reinforcement, torsion design, development length, anchorage, curtailment, detailing of beams, beam-column joints.
W3: Week 3: Column and Slab Design
Column design, short column, long column, axially loaded column, eccentrically loaded column, uniaxial bending, biaxial bending, column detailing, slab design, one-way slab, two-way slab, flat slab, ribbed slab, staircase design, slab detailing, openings in slabs.
W4: Week 4: Footing Design and Detailing
Foundation types, shallow foundation, deep foundation, isolated footing, combined footing, strip footing, raft foundation, pile foundation, pile cap, footing design, punching shear, one-way shear, two-way shear, footing detailing, reinforcement detailing, development length in footings.
W5: Week 5: Earthquake-Resistant Detailing and Live Projects
Earthquake-resistant design as per IS 1893:2016, ductile detailing as per IS 13920, confinement reinforcement, special confining reinforcement, beam-column joint detailing, strong column weak beam concept, shear wall design, live projects - residential building, commercial building, complete RCC design and detailing.
W6: Week 6: Documentation, Viva, and Certification
Bar bending schedule, BBS preparation, quantity calculation, design reports, detailing drawings, project documentation, resume building, interview preparation, viva-voce examination, feedback session, certificate distribution.
