W1: Week 1: Web Fundamentals and HTML/CSS
Introduction to web development, how the internet works, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, client-server architecture, HTML5 semantic elements, forms, tables, media elements, CSS3 selectors, box model, flexbox, grid layout, responsive design, media queries, CSS frameworks (Bootstrap/Tailwind), web accessibility standards.
W2: Week 2: JavaScript and DOM Manipulation
JavaScript fundamentals - variables, data types, operators, control flow, functions, arrays, objects, ES6+ features (let, const, arrow functions, template literals, destructuring, spread/rest operators), DOM manipulation, event handling, form validation, local storage, JSON, asynchronous JavaScript (callbacks, promises, async/await), fetch API, error handling.
W3: Week 3: React.js and Modern Frontend Development
Introduction to React, JSX, components, props, state, hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, useReducer), React Router, forms in React, conditional rendering, lists and keys, styling in React, component lifecycle, context API, state management, introduction to Redux, building responsive single-page applications.
W4: Week 4: Node.js, Express.js, and Backend Development
Introduction to Node.js, npm, modules, file system, events, streams, Express.js framework, routing, middleware, request/response handling, RESTful API design, authentication (JWT, bcrypt), authorization, error handling, environment variables, API testing with Postman, CORS, security best practices.
W5: Week 5: Database Integration and Full Stack Project
MongoDB fundamentals, Mongoose ODM, CRUD operations, schema design, relationships, aggregation, SQL basics (MySQL/PostgreSQL), database integration with Node.js, building a complete full stack application (e-commerce/social media), connecting frontend to backend, API integration, state management in full stack apps.
W6: Week 6: Deployment, Testing, and Certification
Git and GitHub workflow, version control best practices, deployment platforms (Vercel, Netlify, Heroku, AWS), CI/CD basics, testing (Jest, React Testing Library), debugging techniques, performance optimization, project documentation, resume building, interview preparation, viva-voce examination, certificate distribution.
